🎾 On tap: It’s semifinals day in Bad Homburg, Mallorca, and Eastbourne. And, shocking no one, we’ve got some surprise contenders. But there are also some big names on the docket, too. Madison Keys, Naomi Osaka, Jack Draper, and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina are all in action. More on that below.
🎾 New at Court Theory: Babolat hits the grass with its 2026 Wimbledon collection.
🎾 Drawn: The Wimbledon singles draws are out. Have a look at the women’s singles and men’s singles draws and map out the path to the finals for your favorites.
🎾 One to watch: Ugo Humbert vs. Jack Draper (Semifinals - ATP 250 - Eastbourne): Watch this one to catch two lefties who know how to play on grass face off in an important match for both — but for different reasons. And watch on as Coach Andy Murray guides his new charge toward a final after a long, difficult period that’s put him outside the top 150.
The record: Ugo Humbert leads the head-to-head record over Jack Draper 1-0. However, that match was in 2024 and ended with Draper retiring.
On the line: Humbert has been struggling with consistency this year, which has resulted in a loss of confidence as 2026 has worn on. A spot in the final could jumpstart the second half of the year. Jack Draper is in need of a jumpstart as well. The former top five player is now outside the top 150. Landing in the final would be a huge confidence builder before he heads into Wimbledon, where British pressure will be at its highest level.

🎾 🏆 🎤 YOUR CALL
(Yesterday’s poll results: 83% of you called for Grigor Dimitrov to defeat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Davidovich Fokina won 6-3, 6-3.)
And that’s game.
